Spicy Chili Pepper Snack
We love to accompany special moments with good friends with these fiery chili pepper appetizers, which always work out fine on our Blechrein Party, look pretty and ensure happy faces all around.
Ingredients for 30 pieces:
2 rolls of puff pastry from the refrigerated section
½ red bell pepper
5 sprigs of parsley
5 basil leaves
100 g (1/2 cup) of cream cheese
1 clove of garlic
1 small chili pepper
Salt and pepper
Olive oil
Directions:
- Chop pepper, parsley, basil, garlic and chilli (without seeds) and mix with the cream cheese. Season with salt and pepper.
- Roll out puff pastry and divide into equal squares. On each square place a small dab of red pepper dip and fold the opposite ends. Press firmly with a fork.
- Place puff pastry on a baking sheet lined with Blechrein Party and brush with a little olive oil.
- Bake at 180 °C ( 356 °F) for about 15 minutes.
